I bought two books over the past two weeks that i absolutely love: Lauren Conrad's style book, which i got signed at her book signing =], and the new ELLEments of Personal Style book, which is my new favorite book.

Flats! They're back! A lot of designers are starting to show models in flats. I consider flats to be necessary for a casual, yet still classy, fashionable look. When I was younger (still in my comfortable stages), I only wore flats. I hated heels. My cousin Jen used to yell at me all the time, because I'm short. I'm only 5'3", and she was as tall, so heels are necessary. And heels ARE necessary. But nothing says you cant be comfortable and fashionable at the same time.

I'm not really into the flip-flops that everyone is wearing to classes. But i would wear the flats seen at these designers shows.
